This site contains photos of oil paintings that I have done from 1983 to the present. The paintings are for the most part classical still life and landscape in nature and reflect my longing for a simpler world with simple pleasures. I am a great fan of the Hudson River School of artists, including, Frederic Church, George Inness, and Albert Bierstadt, and the Dutch Still Life painters of the 16th and 17th centuries; consequently, many of my works are painted in those styles. I also paint what I call "Situational figurative" compositions which portray a human situation such as the paintings, "Getting Ready" or "Can I Play."
